Peter Rumolo Obituary

Peter M. Rumolo Sr., 71, of Stroudsburg, passed away Monday, June 14 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono.
Born in Staten Island, NY, he was the loving son of the late Nicholas Rumolo and the late Edith (Striffler) Rumolo.
Peter was a bus driver for the New York Transit Authority for ten years. He was also a US Army Veteran. He loved scratch off tickets and his beloved dog, Benny. Most of all, he lived for his children who he adored, and was a caring and loving father, brother, and uncle. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.
He is survived by his two sons, Peter M. Rumolo Jr. and the love of his life, Shanice, Andrew Rumolo; a sister, June Rumolo and her companion, Joe Pedri; ex-wife, Margaret Soehngen and her husband Geno of Stroudsburg; two nephews, George McAndrew and Nicholas Rumolo; a niece, Nina Rivera, her husband John and family; and a great niece, Ciara McAndrew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Rumolo, and a sister-in-law, Denise Rumolo.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.

Oh I'm so sad to see he passed away. He was one of favorite customers when I worked at turkey hill in Stroudsburg. He will be greatly missed.
