I also worked with Bob at MCCF. Often times he relieved me from my post. I worked 4-midnight, Bob worked the midnight shift. He was a very kind man and when I first started working there, he was one of the first officers to take time and show me how to do the job. Bob had my utmost respect. Your loss was tragic and you will be deeply missed. God Bless You and your family! My sincerest condolences!

Dear Amy, Brandon and Family,

When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too
beautiful to forget.
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your parents.

Amy, Brandon, Bobbie Jo (and Families)
I can't imagine what you are going through. Although you will always have the memories, I have no words to make things "all better." Instead, I wrote this poem for you (Amy & Bobbi Jo) in memory of you parents.

MOM & DAD

It's been a few days since you've been gone. I think, somehow, I should be strong. Then thoughts of you both pop in my head, and yet, more tears then I do shed.

I wonder, as I shed my tears, who will be there to calm my fears? You gave my hand to someone new, who loves me, Mom & Dad...but he's not you.

The memories we shared stay in my heart, as i wonder, why, God tore us apart. I told you secrets only parents can hear. I miss you Mom & Dad, I wish you were here.

So many things I never thought to say. But now you're gone - so far away. To believe in life and God above, Mom & Dad taught us His ever-lasting love.

You're in heaven now, at least you're together. Take with you Mom & Dad, my love for you forever. When my day comes and He calls me there, together we'll be, with more memories to share.

"To live in the hearts we leave behind , is not to die" Thomas Campbell

Dear Bobbi Jo, Amy and family,
You may not remember me. Even though I left St. John's quite some time ago, I often think of and remember your mother. Gert was extremely kind and welcoming, and never made you feel like a "newcomer", just another Christian, trying to worship. She had a true gentleness about her. I do not remember your father, but considering his selection of your mother as a life partner, he must have been a wonderful man.
Amanda, myself, and the rest of our family are devastated for all of you. We cannot even imagine the depths of your despair, nor can we think of any words great enough to offer you any comfort. But we can pray for you, and know that we will. We will ask for God's comfort and strength to touch you. May your memories sustain you until that blessed time, when all of you will be together again in His house. Then, there will be no more sadness, only the joy that comes with the knowledge that there are no more goodbyes. God bless all of you.
