We have missed Charlie's joyful presence for the past few years and send our heartfelt condolences to the family. One of Charlie's birdhouses will continue to serve as an offering depository for the Florida United Methodist Children's Home. As we celebrate the church's centennial we recently recognized that Ruth Sims, Charlie's mother in law, was the church's first organist - serving for 46 years. Similarly, Charlie's faithful service reflected his long time commitment to Christ and His church.
