Virginia Reichert Obituary
REICHERT, 84
LAKE ALFRED - Mrs. Virginia C. Reichert, 84, of Lake Alfred, died Monday, May 17, 2010, at Winter Haven Hospital, of heart failure.
She was born in Queens, New York on February 17, 1926, moved to Lake Wales twenty-five years ago from New York and then to Lake Alfred five years ago. She owned her own hair salon and later went into sales in interior design. She was a member of the Polk County Republican Club, Red Hat Society, and the Model Train Club at Lake Wales' Depot Museum. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales.
Survivors include her husband Armin Reichert, children Joseph J. Giotta of Holden, MA and Priscilla A. Toth of Lake Alfred, stepchildren Diane Reichert of Norwalk, CT, William Reichert of Goshen, NY, Richard Reichert of Gold Canyon, AZ, and Peggy Bender of Bridgeport, CT, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and her sister Lois E. Stolz of Greenlawn, NY.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 12:00 noon at the Johnson Funeral Home with her grandson James Young officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Interment will be made at Lake Wales Cemetery.
