I will never forget Earl. He had such an outgoing personality. He taught me a few valuable tricks about public speaking. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

Earl was my friend and office mate at Logicon. Whenever I returned to SD, we would meet for dinner and laughter. I learned so much about the military world and life lessons. He had the largest laugh and biggest smile. So glad he passed through my life.

Though we never met in person, Earl looked out for me with his Padres tickets. He knew I still work and tried to give me as many weekends as possible. We some some great phone chats over the last several years about baseball. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

Margie and I had the privilege of meeting Earl more than 30 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our friendship through the Naval Academy Alumni Association and Toastmasters. We will always remember Earl as someone who loved people and who people loved. We called him "Uncle Earl". Earl was on the go day and night; always willing to tell a story, go out to eat (those were the best meetings), learn new things and just have fun. We will miss his charm, big personality, and of course, that wonderful bass voice. BRAVO ZULU for a full life lived well.

Loved big Earl. No one like him. We did a lot of "elderly man river" together. He really is missed.

Scott: Sorry to hear of your loss. Your folks always treated me with respect going back to High School days and your father was a very good man. I was honored to know him.

Classmate, fellow Naval Officer, Friend. We will miss Earl, he was always ready to lend a hand or share an adventure. Our last together, attending the 70th class reunion at the Naval Academy was a privilege and honor. Rest in Peace, Dear Friend.

I was sorry to hear about Earl. I remember meeting him a couple times. He seemed like a kind man. My mom (his cousin) would have been sad to hear if she was still here. I suppose they are all together now, glad to see each other. Earl used to send my mom his choir CDs/DVDs, cookbook (think that was recipes from choir). I have them now. I was impressed with his performances. My thoughts are with the rest of his family. I know they will miss him greatly.

We had the privelege of knowing Earl for over 15 years. We also belonged to a couple of social groups with Earl. What a fine gentleman and Naval Officer he was. We moved away to Colorado in 2018; but I was on Earl's email list and continued to receive his, almost daily, tidbits of humor and other information. I will certaily miss Earl. We pass along our condolences to his family and friends.
