Della Karen Rockwell

DELLA KAREN ROCKWELL, 79, known as Karen by her friends and family, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025, at Kobacker Hospice House in Columbus Ohio.
She was born February 5, 1946, in Lucasville, daughter of the late John and Winifred Bliss Rockwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Elzie and Ronald Rockwell; and her sister Kimberly Joy Vanco.
Karen was a 1964 Valley High School graduate. One of Karen's greatest pleasures was visiting her childhood home in Lucasville, where she would spend hours reminiscing about the past with her beloved brother, Vernon Rockwell. These moments were cherished, as they brought her joy and a sense of connection to her roots.
She is survived by her brother Vernon Rockwell of Obetz; niece Karen Prewitt of Cincinnati; nephew Rick Rockwell of Columbus; and numerous other nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. She held a special place in the lives of her great-nephew, Liam Prewitt, aged four, and her great-niece, Emma Prewitt, just one year old, who brought her immeasurable joy and laughter.
As we say farewell to Della Karen Rockwell, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey completed with grace. She will be profoundly missed, yet we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will forever be a guiding light in the lives of her family and friends.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Lucasville Cemetery.
