Shirley Crabtree



Shirley Ann Crabtree, 75, of Portsmouth (North Moreland), died Monday, July 29, 201,3 at Southern Ohio Medical Centers emergency room.



She was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Cloyd Taylor and Dorothy Fields. She was a former employee of Williams Manufacturing Co. and was a cook at Pop's Place.



Shirley is survived by her husband, Earl Crabtree Jr.; four sons, Bill Crabtree of California, Steve Crabtree of Portsmouth, David (Georgia) Crabtree of Lucasville and Earl Albert Crabtree of North Moreland; one daughter, Debbie Brown of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and her pet dog, Missy.



She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Phillip Crabtree.



Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastor Joe Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday noon to 2 p.m. at D.W. SWICK IN NEW BOSTON.
