To the family of Elder Billy Thacker; I extend my deepest sympathy. I am not going to say "sorry for your loss" because you have not lost him. Of all the people whom I have encountered in my life, Billy was one of the most saintly. I was impressed by him when I taught him at Roosevelt High School, I greatly admired him as an adult. He was a wonderful Christian man. Be consoled by the fact that you WILL SEE HIM AGAIN and when you do in the words of Mahalia Jackson, "it will always be howdy, howdy and never good bye". GOD bless all of you and comfort you.
