Clyde Jones Jr.

1959 - 2021

Clyde Jones Jr. age 62 of Gary, Indiana exchanged life for eternity on Friday July 9, 2021. He was born January 29, 1959 to Johnnie Mae Jones and the late Clyde Jones Sr. Clyde was a graduate of West Side Senior High School class of 1977. After graduating from high school he joined the U.S Air Force. Once he returned home from the service Clyde attended Ivy Tech Community College were he received his associates degree in Culinary Arts. Clyde worked for the Gary Juice Company and was also an assistant manger at Taco Bell. He loved music and often performed as an amateur DJ for family and friends, as well as being an avid Bid Whist Player. In his spare time Clyde also tried his skills in barbering. He was baptized and was a member of the Northlake Church of Christ in Gary, where he attended faithfully until his health declined. He is preceded in death by his father Clyde Jones Sr. He leaves to cherish his fond memories mother Johnnie Mae Jones; sister Corliss Y. Jones both of Gary, Indiana; brother Quentin (Kim) Jones Ada, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation, Wednesday July 14, 2021 from 9-10:00 a.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel with a burial to immediately follow at 11: 00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart, Indiana.
