Crystal Cannon Obituary

CRYSTAL LEE CANNON Atlanta, Georgia Crystal Lee Cannon, age 42, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2006. She was born on July 2, 1963 in Gary, the daughter of James and Dorothy (Arana) Cannon. Crystal was a wonderful mother and daughter who cared for others. Crystal loved to play pool and had enjoyed playing softball for Junior Miss. Crystal will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her loving family; son, Nathan Saunders of Portage; grandchildren, Dezi Saunders and Lucas Saunders; mother, Dorothy Cannon of Portage; brothers, James Cannon and David Cannon both of Portage; grandmothers, Charlotte Arana and Asalee Cannon, numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and dear friends. A memorial service will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the Engel Funeral Home, 2700 Willowcreek Road, Portage with a funeral service following at 8 p.m. with Pastor Art Wilkerson, officiating. Crystal's ashes will be scattered at the Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond. For further information, please call the Engel Funeral Home at (219)762-8595 who were in charge of the arrangements.
