Dorothy C. Frenzel

Frenzel, Dorothy C. Age 82, of Lake Station, IN passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, cross word puzzles, camping, dancing, singing and sitting in her rocking chair. She loved her dog, Rex. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret; father, Alexander; sisters, Helen and Lorraine; and her granddaughter, Brandy. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Charles Frenzel; sons, Dennis (Diane) Simala, Lenny Simala; daughters, Diane Gilmore, Barb Fayette, Nancy (Sam) Karras, Jackie (Mike) DeChantal; step-children, Michael, Marsha, Melinda, Michelle, Patricia, Charlie, and Christopher; sister, Marie Sapyta; brothers, Robert (Lucille) Burns and James (Jan) Burns; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may visit with Dorothy's family on Friday, April 5, 2013. from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Funeral Services Saturday, April 6, 2013, directly to St. Francis Xavier Church, 2447 Putnam St. Lake Station , for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am with Rev. David W. Kime officiating, visitation at the church from 9:30 to 10:00 am. Interment at St. John, St. Joseph Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
