Dustin Farnum Obituary

DUSTIN ANDREWS FARNUM Valparaiso, Indiana Age 29 of Valparaiso passed away Wednesday April 25, 2007 at the University of Chicago Hospital. He was born on March 12, 1978 in Valparaiso to Brian E. and Catherine (Andrews) Farnum. Dustin graduated in 1996 from Valparaiso High School. He worked as a Foreman and Journeyman Carpenter for Solid Platforms, Inc. of Portage. Dustin was a member of the Indiana Carpenters Union Local 1005 of Hobart and the American Motorcycle Association for 9 years. On August 5, 2000 in Hobart he married Alicia Mae Trinosky who survives along with 2 daughters, Alexis and Roury Farnum; mother, Catherine Saponaro of Valparaiso; father, Brian Farnum of Florida; step-father, Scott Saponaro of Valparaiso; 2 brothers, Nicholas and Zachary Saponaro, both of Valparaiso; grandparents, William and Ann Andrews of Valparaiso and Virginia Farnum of Valparaiso; father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Mary Trinosky of Plymouth; sister-in-law, Melissa Trinosky of Valparaiso; 2 brothers-in-law, T.J. and Tony Trinosky of Plymouth; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dustin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bert Farnum. Cremation will take place at Angelcrest Crematory, Valparaiso with a memorial service on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd. Valparaiso with Rev. James Armstrong officiating. Memorial visitation will be held Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Solid Platforms for the Dustin A. Farnum Family in care of Jason Lammertin P.O. Box 616 Portage, IN 46368. moellerfuneralhome.com Dustin was a wonderful and loving son, husband, and father who was adored by many. He lived life passionately and to the fullest. We love you and miss you, "Live Hard, Ride Fast!"

Alicia,
No words can take away your pain. I have known Dustin since first grade. I remember when his dad came to school to tell us his when his little brothers were born. It seems so long ago. I didn't know Dustin as good as all his friends and family, but to know my brother Jimmie and the way he speaks about Dustin, I feel like I did.
