I was so sorry to hear about my co-worker's passing. She was alway a joy to be around. We had many laughs in the teacher's lounge. Her teaching standards were always high and the students and fellow co-workers were the beneficiaries of her knowledge, humor and Christian love.

My heart is so very heavy. I never would have thought that Mrs. Ross would be gone. I know that death is inevitable. Mrs. Ross was my church member, teacher and friend. She would always offer encouragement to me and my family. Keith and Simone, I know that you already understand the legacy that Mrs. Ross left. Continue to honor her by being the best you can be. I am so, so blessed to have had Mrs. Ross as my 9th grade biology teacher, mentor and friend. She and Miss Dixon were such an integral part of my development, both at 'Velt and at Israel CME Church. To her family, find comfort in the legacy she has left, as countless students have been impacted by her love, concern and support. No matter where we are in the world, we all represent the best of what Gary is and Mrs. Ross was one of Gary's finest!
