James Malocha Obituary

JAMES J. MALOCHA "JIM" Merrillville, IN Age 55, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007. Survived by wife of 33 years, Melanie; four children, Michelle (Bryan) Smiley of Valparaiso, Jennifer Malocha, Matthew Malocha, Monica (Marco) Flores, all of Merrillville; six grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Brooklyn Smiley, James Janovsky, Ryan and Addison Flores; brother, Paul (Gosia) Malocha of NC; sister, Sherri (Glyn) Thornton of England; half-brothers and -sisters, Roseann (Ron) Buchanan, Christiann (Darren) Szwajkowski, Joseph Malocha, Andrew Malocha, and Veronica Malocha; stepmother, Maria Malocha. Preceded in death by father, Joseph, and mother, Mildred Krafft Malocha. Jim was a retired machinist for IHB Railroad, a graduate of Andrean High School, Class of 1970, a graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. degree in Economics, an avid golfer, reader, and White Sox fan. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 6360 Broadway, Merrillville, Sunday, August 19, 2007, from 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Richard Ameling officiating. At rest, Calumet Park Cemetery. Family and friends may share an online condolence or memory at www. pruzinfuneralservice.com.

Melanie and Family, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Jim. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of sorrow. He will be so missed. I will always remember him and Brad Glazing our windows LOL.
