just found out about travis from billy whitaker this thur. we had our pict.taken with howard &billy on his last trip to ms.now 2 of us 4 are gone .just don't forget that you have family in ms.i miss him,his dad & i were buddies-he started me in the treasure hunting business with metal detectors almost 50 yrs, ago-still going.just remember i love ya'll even tho we never met-i am praying for you all. love -your kin -gene whitaker-354 cr 218, corinth ms.38834

I remember your dad from when we were neighbors in Hammond. When I read the part of the obituary that said he had a southern gentlemen personality, I smiled because that is exactly how I remember him. I am sad to read of his passing. I will say prayers for you all in the days to come that God will comfort your hearts as only He can.
