As Hard As it is to Say I offer condolences to the family of a great individual that God has allowed to shine the light of joy into the lives of many. The honor that I have to even know such a great spirit cannot even begin to express the hurt that we all may feel. Some close and others closer the love the same. Jasmine you are trully incomparible to many and clearly perfect to most namely myself. I love you very much and I pray that we will continue our conversation in heaven....... Until we meet again.......

Dear Family and Friends,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Jasmine. She was a bright light of passion and intellect in a world which all too often lacks these qualities. Jasmine was a student of mine at Purdue University Calumet, and although she was new to the subject of philosophy, she showed a love of learning and a pursuit of excellence in my class that I have not forgotten. What's more, only several weeks ago, I renewed my acquaintance with Jasmine at the Verizon store in Merrillvile, where she helped my wife and I purchase some new phones. She was high-spirited, personable, and efficient, and brought bright sunshine to a gray, early March day. This is the way that I will always remember Jasmine.

We should celebrate the full life that Jazz had and remember her high spirit and beautiful personality. Today's services put things into perspective for me and I know that she's in the comfort of the highest one and she will forever live in our hearts. Lia, you know i've always been there for you and will continue to do so. I've never seen STRENGTH like i've seen it in you today. It was said that you were the one to give the rest of us the strength needed to get through this.....and your actions showed just that. Jazzy's spirit will continue to live through all those she impacted...especially mine. I'll always remember when I would visit you all, she would greet me with "Haaaaayyyyy Rhonda J" with a high pitched tone and give me a big hug and a smile:) I'm gonna miss that sooo much. I love you all and we will get through this together...

Jasmine and I were classmates at Tolleston Middle School. I can still picture her beautiful smile and little puffy cheeks. I am very sorry to hear of this very sad news.

Jasmine went to two high schools with me and when we see each other we would say hi sister and hi brother. Just know she will be missed and my condolences goes out to all the family and just know shes in a better place.

I would like to send my condolences to Lia and the family of Ms. Jazzy Thornton. I didn't know Jazzy that well, but from what I did know she was a very bright and happy young lady. Everytime I saw her she stood with a smile on her face never a frown.
As for Lia, you know Rhonda is ma big sis and I always looked @ you the same, as long as Jazzy was considered Rhonda lil sis she was also my sister. I love you and the family and as I always say know that God will never put more on you than you can bare. Jazzy is in a better place in which we all shall reunite with her.

Jasmine and I went to high school together. she was one of the few people that didn't judge me or treat me differently. she would always laugh at my corny jokes and was always high spirited. i can't think of one day where she was in a bad mood. she helped me get through psychology in one piece. i will miss seeing her everytime i go to the mall at one job or another. this is really a reality check for me but to the family i would like to say that you are in my prayers and that Jasmine will be missed greatly

I met this young lady at Vrizon wireless when I went in to purchase a phone. She was very nice, pleasant and personable. She left a very lasting impression on me. I was sad to hear of her passing. Her parents should be proud for raising a wonderful person.

I've always loved Jasmine and considered her one of my closest friends. She was the type of person who made you feel at ease and she was so real nothing about her was fake. We lost contact,I was busy starting a new life, and I just always assumed- well when I get my own place and I'm all set- I'll get back into contact with all the people I love. Well thats happened for me, and I was just planning on having a baby shower for one of our friends. She was one of the persons I was most looking forward to reuniting with. My point is don't wait. I'm so sorry I did.
Jasmine is one of the most incredible souls I've met in my life. There isn't anyone like her, and there is not a doubt in my mind that she is in Heaven right now, in a good place. My prayers go to her family. I'm truly sorry for such a great loss.

I ran across a picture of us the year we were in summer school together a few weeks ago, and was just thinking about you. Even though I'm in Florida now, friends informed me of our loss. You will be greatly missed.

I am Rhonda Jones' cousin as well as a friend of Jasmines from high school. I always remembered seeing her bouncing around the mall from job to job being the dedicated worker that she was. She would hold two jobs at times and I never could grasp how she could do that with school and her family and still be the spirted person that she was. I was even happy for her when she told me she was getting her first apt. She had so much going for her and I hate to see it end so suddenly. I want the family to know that you are in my prayers...
