One the best. Knew him from USS mostly. He did the work of three people. A new position opened up, Dale Polster asked if I would recommend Marty for the job. At that time, I had twenty years of service with USS. I answered, "You will never regret awarding him the job".

I am terribly sorry that I couldn't make it to the funeral to be with you in your grief. I have known, and been a friend to Marty since his first days in the Mills. If there is anything I can do for you and your family please let me know.

I worked with Marty in the 70's. Truly one of the good guys. I remember fondly, Marty eating his Puffed Rice, while we played poker on Thursday nights. When he was on a roll, he couldn't lose. He was a kind human being who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
