Norma Taylor Obituary

NORMA JEAN TAYLOR "JEAN" Age 30, of East Chicago, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2004 at St. Catherine Hospital. Survivors: 1 son, Tyree Taylor; mother, Annie Taylor; father, Alonzo Smith; 3 brothers, Alonzo Smith Jr., Turrell (Christine) Anderson and Henry Rumph; 1 sister, Ebony Rumph, all of East Chicago; devoted friend, Adrienne Cotto of Indianapolis; 4 uncles, Herbert Copeland and Tim Taylor, both of East Chicago, Alton (Debbie) Taylor Jr. of Milwaukee, James Taylor of Blytheville, AR; 1 great-aunt, Viola (Nathaniel) Freeman of Detroit; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 11 a.m., Grace Baptist Church, 3602 Ivy Street, East Chicago, Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery, Griffith. Friends may call Tuesday, December 28, 2004, Hinton & Williams Funeral Home, 4859 Alexander Avenue, East Chicago from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. "Jean" was a 1992 graduate of East Chicago Central High School.
