My dearest friend Darcel,
Prayer is your 911 line to God. It doesn't matter if you know how to articulate your problem to him. He is listening every hour of every day; he knows your name; he understands your circumstances; and he has already dispatched the help you need. You can approach God's throne whenever you desire and pour out your heart to him. Prayer is a precious opportunity that is available 24/7-take advantage of it as often as you can. What a tremendous privilege!
Nothing is too great and nothing is too small to commit into the hands of the Lord.

I knew Rickey via Fanny Smith (Rickey's Grandmother) who was formely married to the now deceased Major Davis.(My Uncle) Rickey and I played football at West Side together. I remember him as a very competitive athelete with a good heart. We had good times going to the "Country" together to Major Davis's Rod and Gun Club on various summer holidays when were teenagers.
My prayers and sympathy go out to Mary and the entire Smith Family.

I was shocked and sad when I read that Rickey had passed. I remember Ricky from Edison and West Side. I had not seen Rickey since we left West Side in 1979. Rickey will forever be missed. We had some good times together as kids. Rickey and I were in trouble together as kids. He was the person that inspired me to ride motorcycles, play football, and to lift weights. He was affectionately called "Boog" by his aunt JoAnn whom preceded him in death. Rickey take care of my mother.
