Robert Marshall Obituary

Robert Thomas Marshall, Jr. "Pusher" was born September 11, 1942 in Tralake, MS, to the late Robert Marshall, Sr., and Emma Mae Marshall Crawford. Robert passed away May 27, 2021. He attended Bethel AME Church for over 25 years where he served as an Usher and Trustee. He later moved his membership to Saint John AME Church. He attended Tolleston High School and worked at Glen Park Bakery and later retired from Inland Steel Corp. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, other father Riley Crawford, grandmother Mary Scott, special friend Dorcus Dean Jefferson; sons Robert III, and Freddie; daughter Sylvia; grandchildren Deavanta, Deneil; brothers Riley Jr. and Lawrence; sister Earline and several aunts; He leaves to cherish his memories former wife Betty; three sons Marlon (Janette), Prince (Jennifer) and Tyree; three daughters Lora (ex Anthony), Marshalette, Latonya; six sisters Dorothy, Cleola, Brenda, Patricia, Emma (Michael) and Elise; three brothers Kenny (Wanda), Sean Ray and Charlie Ray; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation Monday June 7, 2021 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. All services at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
