I no longer live in the area...so when a friend of mine informed me of Mrs. Kennedy's passsing...my heart instantly became heavy. I sat next to Mrs. Kennedy at the Welfare Department for several years. I learned a lot from her and always had a good laugh. My deepest sympathy to her family. Rest in peace Mrs.Kennedy.

My heart is heavy. I am sorrowful that Roz is gone. I know that she was ill, but the finality still stings. She had a way of saying things and seeing the world that brought a different perspective. I will truly miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Sending condolences to Greg, Jacynta,Darlene and the entire Kennedy and Harris Family. Jacynta could not have asked for a better Grandmother. Mrs. Kennedy loved Jacynta. She shipped her crib to Atlanta before Jacynta took her first breathe. Mrs. Kennedy remained ever present in our lives. She was a Role Model, Provider, Teacher, Preacher and Ultimate Diva. In this time of grief and sorrow, remember Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean to your own understanding and he will direct your path. Mrs. Kennedy left an amazing legacy. I was surprised to hear of the passing of a friend and coworker at Dcfs. Roz was a beautiful person and I will remember some of the fun times we shared there. Roz loved her children and family. She strived so hard in her church and will now receive what God promised Eternal life. I pray God grant each of you peace. Remember a Mother's love is forever.
