It's been a few years now, and Samantha's laugh still echoes in my ear. I still feel the warmth in her hug and the comfort from her smile. I miss her deeply. I still seek her advice, and it's hard. I can't wait for he day where I get to see her again, and laugh like we used to. Rest in paradise, beautiful.

I met Samantha a few years back when we both attended a photography workshop there in Indiana. She was so warm and open and friendly that I've kept up with her through flickr and really enjoyed getting to know her. Her work is beautiful and will be so cherished by all the families she met along her journey. I just wanted you to know that she has touched so many lives, in so many wonderful ways... in her short years and she will be missed.

Words cannot express how saddened I am by Sam's passing. She touched my life in such a way that I will never forget. She was one of those special people who bring joy to everyone they meet. I feel blessed to have known her and call her my friend.

I am truly saddened by the passing of Sam. We have lost an amazing beautiful person inside and out. I was blessed to have met Sam many years ago as we worked together at Menards, and she continued to be my friend all through these 13 years. I feel priviledged to have known her. As the doves were released today, it pained my heart but made me realize I will think of her every time I see one. My condolences to her family and may God help you heal in this sad time. Know that she touched so many people and her life was full, as many loved her from the love that she gave to all of us.

Samantha had the best personality, she always had a smile on her face and made everyone around her smile as well. She was a wonderful teacher and friend and my boys were both blessed to have her. She will always be young and she will always be beautiful and she will be missed a great deal by many. We send our condolences to the family.

My heart goes out to the family of Samantha. She accomplished much in her life and was a great inspiration to my daughter Christian Stanford. They reconnected after many years due to the illness that they both shared. Sam became a very good friend and companion to my daughter when she was diagnosised with Stage IV Hodgkins Lymphoma. She was a strong woman who gave my daughter hope. Through Sam illness she took the time to be there for Christian when she was anxious about testing, results and life. Know this your daughter, wife, sister made a huge impact on my daughters life. She gave of herself, alway willing to listen and direct the fears Christian had. My daughter mourns the lost of her friend and is fearful of the journey she now must walk alone. Know this also that this young woman was brought into my daughters life for a season, a reason and she shall remain a huge part in my daughters heart. Thank you Sam!
