Timothy Porter Obituary

TIMOTHY JAMES PORTER III Gary, Indiana Age 38 years, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus. Tim was a lifetime resident of Gary, IN, and a member of Embassies of Christ Kingdom Ministries. At the time of his passing he was employed at Amoco Oil in Whiting, IN. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Pauline & Isaac Collier, paternal grandparents Timothy J. Porter Sr. & Anniebell Porter, Claude & Annie Mae Roundtree, father, Timothy J. Porter Jr., cousin, Kevin Watson, and brother-in-law, George F. Rogers III. He leaves to cherish his memories: Loving mother, Lauretta Porter of Valparaiso, IN; 2 daughters, Timperonce J. Porter and Jada Tatiana Porter (Ramona Porter) of Atlanta, GA; 1 son, Timothy J. Porter IV (Dreniece Gray) of Gary, IN; 2 sisters Lori Beard of Valparaiso, IN, LaTanya Rogers of Crown Point, IN; 1 uncle, John (Fronie) White; 3 aunts, Linda (Harold) Washington, Patricia Carter and Ava Roundtree, all of Gary; 3 nieces, Latoria Rickets, Gianna Rogers, India Beard; 1 nephew, Imari Beard. Tim had many cousins, relatives and friends. Special friends (his buddies), Shawn Rogers, Alonzo Jones, Karlissa Smith, Quanda Holmes. Visitation Friday, May 26, 2006, from 12 to 8:00 p.m. Family hour from 7 to 8:00 p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave. Funeral services Saturday, May 27, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Embassies of Christ Kingdom Ministries, 900 West Ridge Road, Pastors Cedric and Joyce Oliver officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park. Professional services rendered by: Guy & Allen Funeral Directors, Inc.
