Walter Trumbo Obituary
Gene is a long time resident of the region, and a member of American Legion Post 430, VFW Post 5365, as well as the Loyal Order of Moose Hobart Lodge, and he served our country proudly in the U.S Army.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 23, 2021 with visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service at Rendina Funeral Home (5100 Cleveland Street, Gary). For info, call 219-980-1141

After my dad died in 1960 when I was 5. Uncle Gene and Aunt Pat would baby sit for me several time. I remember that was so looking forward to Uncle coming home after work to spend time
with me down in his basement.Debbie and I would wait paly riding bikes around the neighborhood. A year or so before he passed he gave me some fishing equipment and in one of the rod tube to my astonishment a bamboo fly rod that is one of my fine cherished possessions of Trumbo's since I didn't have much from my dad.
