Walter Williams Obituary
In 1976 Walter symbolized his dedication to Jehovah and was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness. He served as a dedicated and loyal ministerial servant for many years. He was known for being generous, always willing to help others.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mamie B. Williams, daughter, Mamie Green, sons Walter Jr., Edwin, and Jerome Williams.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories 3 daughters, Mary Jenkins, Ophelia Williams, and Cora Taylor, 7 grandchildren, Tyress Williams, Robin Williams, Tia (Tremell) Williamson, Karesha Plump, Marquetta Magee, Jasmine Wade and RayJean Williams, and 15 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Walter will be greatly missed.
Services will be held Monday, October 2, 2023, Visitation 12:00 PM-1:00 PM: Funeral Promptly at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness 1401 W. 20th Avenue Gary, IN 46407, Interment Oak Hill Cemetery Gary, IN. www.smithbizzellwarnerfuneralhome.com

Hi Family, know that each of you are in my mind and my heart, I will miss Uncle Walter as I know he lived a wonderful life. Each of you our in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember being over at the house when in town and having conversations with Uncle as he might have just got back from fishing or just working on something around the house. He is the last of Auntie and my Mama generation that I know of and am so thankful for him being a part of my life. Missy and family
