I am so sorry to hear about Chuck. He lived across the street from me growing up. We went to Trinity Lutheran School together and his parents and my parents were always getting together to play cards. I have so many wonderful memories of Chuck (and his brothers) when we were little. If we weren't playing basketball or baseball we were just hanging out. He will always have a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. RIP...my friend.

On behalf of my father, Earl Schmidli, who used to work with Chuck at Badger Globe years ago, you have our deepest sympathy & condolences. I remember my dad always talked very fondly about Chuck and they had some good chats at the Mill. Now they can chat in heaven together.

Hi Tammy. I know it will be hard to get through the coming days. Keep your family and friends close to you. Keep your "heart" close to you. Remember the meaning of the heart he gave you. If you ever need to talk again, I'm sure that you can get my email address from here. Or, you can find me at Kohls again. Hugs, Dawn

Charlie was a significant part of my Badger-Globe years, which I value highly - what some memories! We had a nice chat at a training session I was doing about 2012 many years later. So sorry you have to go through this.

Tammy, I'm so sorry Chuck lost his battle with cancer. I enjoyed working with him during our years at KC. He had such a bright outlook on life even when his battle first began. My prayers go out to you and Chuck. I can't attend his celebration with being gone for the winter, but my thoughts are with you and your family

Todd and I along with Ethan,Kaylee and Carter are forever grateful for the beautiful friendship we instantly made with Chuck and will cherish the wonderful memories made with you both. I will personally miss my cheesecake partner and celebrating our birthdays together in the Fugawee Lodge and our silliness with "sangria " that we had no idea had moonshine in it. And the love he had for my beautiful grandchildren and the extra special bond he and Ethan had together. Tammy, we wrap our arms of love and friendship around you not only today but always. LULT

So very sorry for your loss. After leaving Badger Globe I never saw you guys. I never knew he was sick. He is resting now and done with the suffering. Hang on tight to your memories.....

Chuck was most generous as
the sponsor of fun and happiness.
We are at a place where
happy memories make us sad.
This is the place where
we have known love.
The love at this place is strong,
you can almost see it.
If this love here was a color,
we'd call it the color of Chuck.
A kick in the gut that
put our hearts in our throats.
For quite some time it
will be hard to swallow.
Chuck treated everybody great
and will be greatly missed.
We may each have our
own memories of Chuck.
But, have you ever been down
in Chuck's basement?
R. I. P. Chuck

Tammy, my heart goes out to you so much. Chuck is an amazing guy and true friend. One of the nicest guys i've known and we all had so much fun at the lake with you both and Trudy and Jens. I still will never forget how he just HAD to outdo me on the bonfire in Jens' fire pit that one night.

Chuck was always such an inspirational friend throughout the years. He has shown me the positive side of so many things. He loved his winters and always had a special twinkle in his eye once winter was arriving. That drove me crazy at first (since I don't like winter), but he has taught me to appreciate all things in life.... Including the snow. We shared many ups and downs through the years, but he always had a way with looking at the good. I shall always think of you when I shovel and celebrate Halloween. Rest in peace my friend.
