Charles Voigt Obituary
Charles J. "Charlie" Voigt, age 68, of Menasha, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017, peacefully with his family by his side. Charlie was born on February 24, 1949 in Menasha, son of Nyal and Doris (Schroeder) Voigt. He worked for PH Glatfelter Paper Company in Neenah and retired after many years of service. On October 5, 1980 he married Christine Wilke.
In addition to his wife, Charlie is survived by his mother, Doris Voigt, his children: Angela Voigt, Angelica (Robert) Huettl, Robert (Kristin) Voigt, and Lori (Wesley) Soehrmann. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Grace, Brendan, Erik, Allison and Alyssa; his siblings: Lynn (Roy) Schmidt, Donald (Kathy) Voigt, Roger (Merry) Voigt and Randy Voigt; brothers and sisters-in-law: Russell (Diane) Wilke, Robert (Donna) Wilke, Brenda Neubert, Kathy (Scott) Bierman, Colleen (Mark) Reiser, John (Sylke) Wilke and Jean (Kevin) Redlin.
Charlie was preceded in death by his father, a son-in-law, Rich Basler, his mother and father-in-law, Russ and Shirley Wilke, and a brother-in-law, Michael Neubert.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Riverview Lutheran Church, 136 W. Seymour Street, Appleton. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial is being established. For online condolences please visit www.kesslerfh.cmom
