Donna Jaeger Obituary
Donna Jaeger, age 78, of New London, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2016. She was born in New London on September 4, 1937, to John and Frances Lipke. Donna resided in New London all her life. She was a graduate of New London High School. She was employed at First State Bank and then New London Utilities until her retirement. She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in New London.
Survivors include her mother Frances I. Dexter, New London, one sister: Fran "Pinki" Barrington, Bear Lake; two daughters: Debra Jaeger, New London, Karie (Peter) Thorpe, New London, five grandchildren: Christian (Amber) Neal, Dunedin, Florida, Chad (Lauren) Woodhouse, Lafayette, Indiana, Joel Woodhouse, Monticello, Indiana, James (Kayla) Thorpe, New London, Andrew (Brianne) Thorpe, New London, two great granddaughters: Julie Neal, Dunedin, Florida, Hayden Thorpe, New London, a niece: Christine (Mike) Barrington Davis, Minneapolis, Minnesota, a nephew Eric (Nanci) Barrington, Portland, Oregon, two great nephews: Walker Davis, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cormac Barrington, Portland, Oregon, ex-husband Ronald Jaeger, New London.
She was preceded in death by her father John Lipke and her step-father Elmer Dexter. Sister: DeAnna (De De) Lipke, An infant son: Scott, and another son, Scott, brother-in-law Bill Barrington.
Funeral services for Donna will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in New London, with the Rev. Greg Watling officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 10:00 until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established.
The family would like to thank staff at St. Josephs Residence, New London, Dr. Lamb and staff at ThedaCare New London, doctors and staff at AMC, Appleton for their care and concern for Donna. Mom, we know you will love your heavenly vacation!
