Frank De Witt Obituary
Frank E. De Witt "Pat", age 81, formerly of Kaukauna, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. He was born in Little Chute on October 25, 1935, son of the late Anton and Minnie (De Groot) De Witt. Frank worked at Bel Kaukauna Cheese for many years before his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and of Holy Cross Catholic Church, where he was an usher at 4:30 Mass for many years. Frank volunteered at the Loaves and Fishes and made daily trips to visit with his friends at the neighborhood coffee shop, Kaukauna Coffee and Tea. He loved racing and listening to Y100, especially The Bear during the morning show.
Frank will be missed by his siblings: Mary Brown, Rosie (Ken) Huss and Bill (Dorothy) De Witt; sisters-in-law, Carol and Jean De Witt; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his siblings: Robert and Anton De Witt and Theresa Halverson.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
