Fred Bayer Obituary

Bayer, Fred

Fred Bayer, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Louisville, KY. He was born on March 21, 1954 in Neenah; son of George R. and Evelyn M. (Procknow) Bayer.

He was a wonderful chef and will be remembered for his amazing pizzas and gourmet cuisine. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nephew Brett, who was his pride and joy. Fred enjoyed play time with Copper the family dog, watching NASCAR racing and Jeopardy. He was also an avid Packer fan.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Evelyn Bayer; brother, Tom (Sherry) Bayer; sister, Mary (Mark) Van Rossum; nephew, Brett Van Rossum and his aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George Bayer.

A memorial service for Fred will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
