Helen Krasniewski Obituary
Kaukauna - Helen (Schmalz) (Ott) Krasniewski, 94, passed away on December 18 surrounded by her family. Helen was born on October 2, 1926 to Alex and Nellie (Croell) Schmalz. She worked at Michaels for many years. Helen enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and Rummikub.
Helen is survived by six children; Patty Christopherson, Kathy Weber, Ron (Bonnie) Ott, Peg Giordana Tammy (Harvey) Siebers and Terry (Laura) Ott, two step children; Bob Krasniewski and Sue (Evan) Abrahamson, 19 grandchildren; Jamie, Jeremy, Julie, Rob (Ronda), Melissa (Tim) Allison (Tim), Jeff (Laura), Mickey (Jeremy) Jon (Alyssa), Ron Jr. (Lori), Kari (Dave), Ken (Ashley), Adam (Brie) Emily (Noah), Leah (Pete), Clayton, Colton, Jenny (Kyle), Amy (Jason), great grandchildren; Vanessa, Grace, Bryce, Edward, James, Matthew, Mara, Molly, Olivia, Owen, Aidan, Silas, Oliver, Collin, Bennett, Carolyn, Arlo and Eddie her brother Peter Schmalz, sister-in-law, Jean Schmidt, daughter-in-law Karen Ott, other relatives and many friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands; Kenneth Ott and Frank Krasniewski, three children; Tom Ott, Carla Ott and Mike Ott, siblings; Kenny (Betty) Schmalz, Bonnie (Mal) Bodway, Gerald (Marie) Schmalz, Robert Schmalz, a sister-in-law Jenny Schmalz, sons-in-law; Jim Christopherson, Ed Weber, and Tom Giordana.
A memorial service for Helen will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Field Crest Dr., Kaukauna. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.verkuilenfh.com.
