Hildegarde Leick Obituary
Hildegarde Leick, age 93, of Kaukauna, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at American Grand Assisted Living. She was born on June 15, 1919, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Otto and Barbara (Liesch) Klemmer. On May 27, 1937, Hildegarde married Eldor Leick at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna. She was a faithful member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Hildegarde was a member of the Christian Mothers, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the retired couples bowling league. She was an excellent homemaker, and enjoyed cooking for her family.
Hildegarde is survived by her son: Roger (Mary Jane) Leick, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Stephen (Jean) Leick, Kaukauna; Mary (Scott) Ludwig, Wrightstown; Robin (Robert) Fiala, Kaukauna; and Craig (Crystal) Leick, Kaukauna; great-grandchildren: Stephanie and Amanda Leick; Mary Allyssa Ladwig; Samantha and Robert Fiala; Zander and Sienna Leick; and great-great granddaughter: Nevaeh Leick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldor "Gigi" Leick and brother, Herbert Klemmer.
The funeral liturgy for Hildegarde will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna. Fr. Tom Pomeroy will be officiating. Interment will take place at the parish cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of mass. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
