Jeff Hallett Obituary

Jeff Hallett

Neenah - Jeff was born June 14, 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Juanita (Lux) and Richard Hallett. In 1975 his mother moved the family to Long Beach, California. Jeff graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1981 and later took classes at Long Beach Community College.

Jeff took a job driving extensively around the western United States repairing arcade and gaming machines. He settled in Billings, Montana where he married Kathleen (Anderson) in 1992 and completed his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Montana State University -Billings in 1995. They relocated to Neenah, Wisconsin in 1996. Daughter Alena Mariya came into their lives in 1999 and younger daughter Anna Jade was adopted in Wisconsin in 2003.

Jeff worked most recently as a Data Systems Engineer IV at American Family. He brought his gifts of critical thinking, communication, humor and kindness to his work. He was the unique combination of both technical knowledge and relationship focus, making him a natural mentor which was the job he enjoyed the most.

Jeff enjoyed and pursued his interests in remote controlled airplanes and sailboats, 3-D printing, target shooting, kayaking, biking and travel; he was one state shy (Alaska) of his goal to reach all 50 United States.

Halfway into a road trip to visit family in Texas Jeff started to feel unwell. Within the week he was diagnosed with an aggressive tumor on his brain stem and just days later he walked into the arms of Jesus his savior.

Jeff is survived by his fiancée Paige Bundgaard, his mother Juanita Lux, daughters Alena and Anna Hallett, siblings Nicole (Mark) O'Brien, Richie (Bruce) Talbott, Dick (Miranda) Hallett. Nieces and nephews Caitlyn (Derek, Weston, Deacon, Kaia) Nakamura, Jon Rowell, Maureen O'Brien and many other loved aunts, uncles, cousins and family.

Born on flag day, Jeff was a strong patriot. If you feel moved to honor Jeff...fly a flag, stand tall and proud as an American, care for your family, help a friend and love Jesus.

There will be an open house celebration of life on June 5, 2021, from 10 am - 2 pm at River Tyme Bistro, 525 W. Water Street, Appleton, WI. Please join family and friends in honoring Jeff's life by sharing memories and laughs together.
