Kathy O'Brien Mischler sent me the information about Joan. Just wanted you to know how sad I was to hear. I know that your family was very closely interwoven -- such a wonderful thing. Marylou, I have often wondered how things were going for you. If you don"t know, I still have my Menasha house and are in town about every 4-5 weeks. As it happens, I will be there next week (May 1 to 5). If you would send me your phone number, Perhaps we could get together for lunch sometime. I would really enjoy that. Meanwhile, am thinking of you at this very sad time.

I was so sorry to learn of Joan's passing. She was the sweetest lady and I will always remember her kindness and some laughs in our backyards. She will be deeply missed. I only hope Missy was waiting at the gate for her arrival! God bless you Joannie and rest in peace.

My deepest sympathies in losing Joan. I worked with her in Accounting at the Washington St plant when it was American Can. We had a great group at the time. She was very good at her job and taught me a lot. Joan could be straight-laced but still she had a sense of humor. She was a good person to know. God bless and cherish the memories.
