Judy Jennerjahn Obituary

Judy Ann Jennerjahn

Menasha - Judy A. Jennerjahn, age 74, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, June 8, 2018, as St. Elizabeth Hospital. Judy was born on January 25, 1944, daughter of the late Arlin "Jake" and Elaine (Cartwright) Zabel. After graduating from Oshkosh High School in 1963, she began working at Bucky's Foods and Sentry Foods. Judy then worked as a CNA for Visiting Nurses Association as well as private home care. In 1975, Judy married her love and best friend, Thomas Jennerjahn. They celebrated 43 years of marriage.

Judy took pride in tending to her home; whether it be cooking, canning, cleaning, or ironing. She also enjoyed polka dancing. On summer evenings, you would see her as the smiling face behind the window of Lil' Orbits Donuts at the WIR. Above all, she loved and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her husband: Tom; children: David (Julie), Debbie (Scott), Rick (Dawn), Ann and Sue; her grandchildren: Karl, Sophia, Jennifer (Jacob), Kathryn, Megan, Shea, Jamie, Jacob (Ellyn), Mariah, Alyah, Jenna, Rebekah, Hannah, Haley and Gabriel; as well she her great grandson: Kroy. She is further survived by her siblings: Monna Zink and Stanley Zabel; stepfather: Carroll Steinbach; brothers-in-law: Roderick Wood and Peter Gorr; sister-in-law: Dolores Zabel; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her siblings: Dick Zabel and Beverly Wood; her brother-in-law: Dennis Zink; and nephew: Steven Zabel.

The memorial service for Judy will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida St. Menasha, with Rev. Jim Wiebel officiating. A time of gathering will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.

Judy's family would like to thank Dr. Goggins at Fox Valley Hematology, Dr. Tasi, and Dr. Evans at Froedtert. They would also like to thank Judy's "special nurses"; daughter-in-law Dawn Tesch and niece Tracy Kendall for their exceptional care.

A truly wonderful, caring person. I will miss her. Even with all the pain and suffering she was going through, she still managed to care deeply about everyone else. Knowing her has been a blessing to me.

Tom, so sorry for the loss of Judy. Have so many great memories of her from working with her at Sentry and bowling on Tueday nights. Was always a fun time when you and her were around. May the good Lord watch over you and give you strength in your time of need ! God Bless.
