Marlene was a very special lady in my life for the past 30 plus years. I had the honor of working with her at Theda Clark as a new nursing assistant and subsequently a RN. She was always a positive influence on us “kids” working with her and taught us more than she could ever realize. My family is blessed to have known her and been able to maintain a relationship with her after her retirement. It always brightened our day when we saw her at the theater.
Godspeed Marlene “Mother Morris.” You’ve earned your wings.

I just saw the wonderful tribute to Marlene on the news tonight. I have not been to the movies for a year, but I was always happy to see Marlene sitting in her chair to collect my ticket. She always wonderful to talk to. She would always comment about the movie you were seeing or if you asked he what she saw she would tell you. She was a wonderful person in the times I went to the movies. Sending you thought and prayers. She will be greatly missed at the movies.
