Michael Voss Obituary
Michael David Voss of Woodcliff, New Jersey, died at his home on Wednesday August 15, 2012. He was born on May 8, 1943, the eldest son of the late David and Mildred (Miron) Voss, Sr. and attended St. Mary Grade and High School in Menasha. He graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 1966, where he was a small college football All-American center.
Mike was employed in the Human Resource section of Boeing Company in Huntsville, Alabama, before joining the Banta Company in Sales. He concluded his career as CEO of Meehan Tooker Printing in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Mike enjoyed his farm in Pennsylvania, where he raised cattle, horses and hunted extensively with family and friends, but most appreciated his opportunity to spoil his grandchildren whom he so loved.
Mike is survived by his three children, Gretchen (Dave) Fivek, Craig Voss and Brian (Anna) Voss and their children; two sisters, Barbara Lenz and Linda (Mike) Killian; and two brothers, David (Jane) Voss, Jr. and Patrick (Patricia) Voss and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Judith Hubbell and a brother-in-law, James Lenz.
Mike has requested that there not be a formal service but a remembrance will be held at a later date.
