Robert Schmidt Obituary
Appleton - Passed away unexpectedly in Appleton on January 9, 2018 at the age of 49. Robert was born on June 14, 1968 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Bob and Sandy Schmidt. Robert graduated from Kimberly High School and later attended and graduated from UW- Stevens Point. Robert was joined in marriage to Sara Jean Webber in 2002. Robert and Sara lived in Arkansas for ten years prior to moving back to Appleton. Robert was a stay at home dad for over 11 years. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and fishing with his father-in-law.
Robert is survived by his children Elijah, Morgan, and Madeline. Beloved son of Bob and Sandy Schmidt of Darboy, Wisconsin. Dear brother of Jason (Shauna) Schmidt of Hortonville, Wisconsin. Nephew of Jerry (Judy) Mitchelly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Robert (Karen) Mitchelly of Green Lake, Wisconsin, and Roger (Phyllis) Schmidt of Fountain, Colorado. Robert is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Schmidt Children Benefit Irrevocable Trust which been established at Fox Community Credit Union.

I knew Bob long ago when we were kids. We spent many afternoons swimming in Kimberly and we both liked bowling. I will forever remember you that way, Bob. Always.

We've known Bob for close to 20 years. You can't just replace a life-long friend you've known for so long. We'll miss being able to catch up, hangout, camp and watch our kids play together. Our love to your kids and the families left behind. You are all in our thoughts. Christine & Andy

Robert will be missed by everyone that new him. He was a lovingly father and enjoyed life. Our prayers go out to his entire family for such a great loss. We think of them and pray for them everyday. Our hearts are broken for them and hopefully some day will be able to move on in their lives.

Robert was a great guy and was sad to hear about his loss. We think of him often and miss the great times with had with him and his family. He was like family to us and he will be forever in our thoughts. Our prayers go out to his family.
