Thomas Tyrrell Obituary

Tyrrell, Thomas

Thomas Tyrrell, age 72 years, of Clintonville walked to be with his Lord and Savior and his parents in heaven on Tuesday, April 29, 2014.

Thomas Clement Tyrrell was born on May 20, 1941 in Clintonville, the very special child of Clement "Irish" and Irene (Rades) Tyrrell. Tom attended school in Appleton. He enjoyed going to the family cottage at Pickerel Lake, watching and participating in the Cerebral Palsy Telethons, and watching the Green Bay Packers. Tom also liked listening to music and his favorite singer was Brenda Lee. He loved his job at Waupaca County Industries. Tom resided with his parents, and later became part of the family at the Park Place Group Home which is now called McKinley House. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and was brought communion on a regular basis for which Tom was very thankful.

He is survived by the residents and staff of McKinley House, his aunt, Nathalie (Ken) Fetzer, his cousins, Janice (Jim) Westphal, David (Mary) Rades, Connie (Tom Peck) Raether, Bonnie (Marshall) Conradt, Donald (Jan) Miller, Betty (Bill) Peterson, Barbara (Andy) Bileck, Gerald (Sally) Cegelski, Fred Cegelski, Dick (Nyla) Cegelski, and Maria (Rick) Leichtfuss.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 11:00 AM at St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville. Deacon Lincoln Wood will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.

A very sincere thank you to all that have cared for and given of themselves to make Tom comfortable and happy, especially Carole Daley and the staff at McKinley House, Dr. Leslie Gray, Dr. Cynthia Egan, Dr. Yuchin Fang, Mary Wais, Peggy Legut, Nancy Gartzke, Jamie Lodewegen, Kara Krohn and her family, Linda Marach, Jackie Fandrey, Brandi Marquardt, Julie Piotraschke, Elaine Schuler and the St. Rose Communion Distributors, Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, and Heartland Hospice.

Tom now has everything in heaven. If you desire to give a remembrance, please donate to your favorite charity.
