Todd Wenzel Obituary

Todd Wenzel, 48, of Sherwood, died on Thursday, April 12, 2012 due to an ATV accident on Easter Sunday. Todd was a graduate of Menasha High School and went on to earn his Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Education from UW Stout. He worked for Accelerated Genetics for over 25 years. His passion for his career was second to none. His devotion and commitment earned numerous awards for his accomplishments. He was well respected and his co-workers had the utmost admiration for him.

Todd is survived by his wife Nancy. They were married in 1992 and have two sons, Dylan (18) and Brady (15). Todd was a devoted husband, father and provider. Together Todd and Nancy created a strong family foundation with a piece of land and a lot of love. He lived for his time at home with his two boys, working their farmette, shooting hoops, fishing and watching them compete in their high school athletics. He never missed a game.

There are no words to describe Todd. He was just a great man. His soft spoken words could easily calm a volatile situation and quietly bring a party to roaring laughter with his quick wit and clever sense of humor.

Nancy, Dylan and Brady,

You all have our deepest sympathy.

You don't get over it, you just get through it. You don't get by it, because you can't get around it. It doesn't 'get better'; it just gets different. Everyday... Grief puts on a new face....

Nancy, Dylan, and Brady,
I don't know what to say to you all.. Todd was a great guy/husband/father, so I can only imagine how hard this must be for all of you. Working with Todd and his clients, I never heard a single bad word said about him. And, every time I was around him, he always had a smile and friendly words. Even after the horse accident!
Jayne, the kids, and I are so very sorry that God decided He needed Todd now-not later. He will be missed greatly by the whole community.
Our prayers go out for the three of you.
Sincerely,
Tom Young, DVM

Mere words are inadiquate at a time like this, the hole left behind when a beloved passes is too big! Instead we pray God help you cling to your faith, your tremendous family and many friends. We pray He and they bring you comfort and peace in this time. And rememeber, the more he is missed here (and that will be enormously) the greater his reward in heaven for a life very well lived!
