Vicky Root Obituary
Neenah - Vicky Lynn Root, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, with her family by her side, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born April 1, 1967in Appleton, daughter of the late LaVerne and Sonia Root.
Vicky was a Neenah resident all her life. She graduated from Neenah High School in 1985 and has worked at Plexus for the last 25 years.
Vicky loved her family dearly. She enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, DIY projects and thrift shopping with her sisters, as well as spending time outside and playing with her dog, Celia.
Vicky is survived by her son, Ryan Lawler; her life partner, Brian Lawler; two sisters: Ann Root, Menasha, Pamela Root, North Carolina; two brothers: Mark Root, Menasha, Daniel Root, Town of Delta, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
Vicky was preceded in death by her stepmother, Gloria Root; and a brother, Dick Root.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Huff officiating. The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
