Daniel Tracy Obituary
Daniel was born July 15, 1983, in Nampa, Idaho, to Douglas Robert Howe and Lori Doty Tracy. He grew up and attended schools in Nampa and Melba.
On May 31, 2003, he married the love of his life, Lisa Bounsana in Nampa, Idaho. Daniel and Lisa made their home in West Yellowstone where Daniel worked as a Construction Superintendent for RSCI.
He was very passionate about everything he loved, following his family, he loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and especially dirt biking. Daniel was an exceptional builder and construction leader. He was well loved and respected by his crew, which he treated like family.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Lisa Tracy of West Yellowstone, MT; son, Jaxton (Sydney) Tracy of Rexburg, ID; son, Kaden (Skyler) Tracy of Rexburg, ID; daughter, Kyera (Jon Balderrama) Tracy of Rexburg, ID; daughter, Khloe Tracy of West Yellowstone, MT; son, Danny Tracy of West Yellowstone, MT; grandchildren, Charli Rae, Sawyer Sky, Danielle Lisa, and Hudson Daniel; father, Douglas Howe of Glenns Ferry, ID; mom and dad, Lori and Skip (Todd) Tracy of Grandview, ID; sister, Jamie (Jeff) Wilson of Boise, ID; brother, Jeremy (Jenn Shriner) Tracy of Homedale, ID; sister, Michelle Tracy of Nampa, ID; brother, Luke Tracy of Twin Falls, ID; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby and Penny Doty; grandfather, Todd Tracy; and grandfather, Brian Bounsana.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:50 p.m. prior to services. Reception to follow immediately at Brickyard Event Center, across the street, at 1025 S. Ammon Road.

Hey Doug, so sorry to hear about your son Daniel. I still remember when he was just a little guy riding at OMC and in the Owyhee desert trails riding the little 50cc dirt bike. I pray for God's peace and comfort for all his family.
