Kaden Loveland Obituary

Kaden Nate Loveland, 27, passed from this life to journey into his next life on June 3, 2023.

He is the son of Mark O. and Susan Nate Loveland and brother to Jessica, Logan, Lindsay, and Gentry.

Kaden had a zest for life that followed him everywhere he went.

Whether it was on the farm, the ranch, the basketball court or the golf course.

Everyone who knew him was met with a smile, a laugh, some straight talk or something to remember him by. He was the perfect combination of work hard, work harder, play hard, play harder and "be lazy". He gave everything his all and his best. He could improve any situation in a heartbeat, finding a way to make it run smoother, simpler, or with more common sense. And that went for his relationships as well. He loved people. Loved them. No judgements, both feet in and with all his heart. His connections with his friends and family, and second family, were incredibly important to him and he never took them lightly. His heart was generous and kind and bigger than most. No wonder it was his heart that took him to the next field to plant.

He had a deep spirituality and connectedness to things beyond this realm. And a wisdom to go with it. At the core of his soul, he knew life had deeper meaning and always wanted it to be meaningful and real.

Kaden was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on January 26, 1996. For the first 4 years of his life, he lived on the Fort Hall Reservation and then the family moved to Blackfoot, Idaho, where he went to school and graduated from Blackfoot High School in 2014. He was active in basketball, soccer, golf, and student government.

From the time he was little, he loved to cowboy and go to work on the ranch. He was throwing a rope before we could teach him how to use one and would say, "Hey dad, are ya gonna' doctor this one?!" Aptly handling a tractor before most people can drive, he gained a love for farming as well. And as he grew older, he couldn't decide which he liked more so he just continued to do both. He was a good hand, a sound operator, and a talented manager.

As his circle of friends grew, he jumped right into snowmobiling and riding motorcycles and "trading trucks" around every corner. He always had a jovial bet going with anyone in earshot, that was accompanied by his mischievous gift for fun, and the insistence of making the stakes high enough so they would have to put in. He had a way of getting everyone involved and going higher. More friends, who became his second family, started him on the "Jeeping" adventures and he convinced his mom to partner on a Jeep so he could officially join their ranks. You will always be his ride or die crew. Add more friends to that, who had his back on the daily and helped him keep his golf clubs swinging. He treasured all of you deeply, with his soul. Those friendships will carry on for him and he will always have your backs.

He loved his big black Brahma 4H steer that he would hop on top of and ride. And he had just as big a love and soft spot in his heart for every dog he ever owned, especially Teddy and Ranger.

He loved all things farming and ranching and was working for his Uncle Kevin as the Manager at Loveland Farms at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Susan Loveland of Blackfoot, siblings Justin and Jessica Chappell of Ashton ID, Logan Chet and Lizzie Loveland of Yuma AZ, Lindsay and Jade Searle of Shelley, and Gentry Loveland, Blackfoot; and his grandparents Karl and Peggy Loveland of Fort Hall, ID.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lynn and Veon Nate.

He will be dearly missed by his 24 aunts and uncles, 36 cousins, and 9 nieces and nephews: Colter Chappell, Clay Chappell, Stetson Searle, Grace Chappell, Dawson Searle, Emma Chappell, Payson Searle, Levi Loveland and Harmony Chappell, who affectionately called him Kadentot, Kadorade, or any other nickname of the day to join in the teasing, and who will be riding his legs all the way 'til he gets to Heaven.

We love you Kaden and know we will always have an angel with a huge heart and a "work smarter" attitude watching over us all.

The family will meet with friends at a viewing on Friday, June 9, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at Hawker Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday June 10, 2023, with a viewing prior from 10:00-11:45 a.m. at the Blackfoot 6th Ward building, 660 Teton Road.

Interment will take place at the Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot, Idaho.

We would love for you to share your memories, stories, and photos with us. We know he touched many lives far beyond our scope and would cherish your memories of him. We are forever grateful for all of you who touched his life.

Dearest Mark & Susan,
I´m so sorry for your tender loss. Your handsome son sure had loving parents and a big beautiful family all around him, that I know firsthand. He has a much larger mission on the other side. You will feel of his love and he will be with you always. But, it still is difficult. I send you my love, a prayer for peace, and my deepest condolences. From my family to yours, "May the good Lord bless and keep you, and your troubles all be small ones, may the good Lord bless and keep you til we meet again!..." We cherish both of your families very much.

With Love, Rachel Packer xoxo

At a loss at what to say, I´ll miss him a lot, he was one in a million, never wondered where you stood with Kaden and knew you could always count on him if you needed help.
