Steve Weise Obituary
Stephen Lloyd Weise, 52, of Shelley, Idaho, passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Portneuf Medical Center.
Steve was born June 6, 1958, in Idaho Falls to David Leigh Weise Sr. and Ardith Leona Lloyd Weise. He attended school through the ninth grade in Shelley and graduated from Firth High School.
Steve worked frequent part-time jobs. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his father, David L. Weise Sr. of Shelley; sisters and brother, Vicki (Rodney) Bird of Idaho Falls, David L. (Julie) Weise Jr. of Shelley, Debra Weise of Idaho Falls and Melissa Weise of Post Falls, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, in Goshen Cemetery with Jon Wood officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., prior to departing for the cemetery.
