Paul, we will love you always and miss you. Looking forward to laughing with you and hugging you again some day. You are a gift to so many. We love you Lori, Mackenzie, and Monika. Cousin Barbara (and the Snyder and Bouton's from late Uncle David's family)

I went to college as a 51 year old on a grant from the VA after my husband died. Mr. B, as us students called him, (because we couldn't agree on how to pronounce Bouton) was a caring, helpful tacher who aimed to have his students succeed. I had trouble with algebra (took it twice in high school) and he was always willing to help me after class. He'd get so excited when he was teaching at the blackboard that we used to laugh and say he looked like Tim Conway's old man character on steroids. He made learning fun, especially for an older student like me. A wonderful man and an outstanding teacher. So sorry for your loss. Christine Murphy

I am so sorry for your loss and I am very sad to hear of Professor Boutons passing. I had him for math 2 semesters ago and I enjoyed his online class a lot. He made math relatable and easier to understand and I truly believe he is the reason I did well in his class. I have no doubt that he is now your guardian angel.

What a huge loss for SUNY Adirondack and the greater community. Paul was a dedicated, superior educator and all around good person. He worked tirelessly for his family, too. Sharing an office with him these last few years, I saw him work hard with care for all in both the college and his family. He’ll be deeply missed. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.
