Lisa Lockhart Obituary
July 21, 1957 - November 21, 2024
Lisa Demboski Lockhart was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and teacher. She entered the next world suddenly on November 21, 2024 at age 67. She is survived by her children, Megan and Benjamin; her father, Lloyd; her siblings, Amy, Peter, and Paul. She was predeceased by her husband, George in 2011 and her mother, Marguerite in 2023.
Lisa was born to Lloyd and Marguerite Demboski on July 21, 1957, and graduated from Glens Falls HS class of 1975. After earning her Masters in Special Education from Syracuse University, Lisa joined the love of her life George Lockhart in California where they had two children, Megan and Benjamin.
Lisa spent her career teaching young children. Students would remember Miss Lisa and her smile years later after they graduated from college. Lisa's greatest joy was raising her children and pouring her endless love into her family and friends. She was most in her element at the beach with her toes in the sand, on a boat cruise on Lake George, or on a patio enjoying a margarita. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives were touched by her shining spirit.
Services of remembrance are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on December 14, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church in Glens Falls, N.Y. and 10 a.m. January 17, 2025 at White's Chapel in Southlake, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Ronald McDonald House on her behalf, a place she spent her retirement cooking for families with her Church.

"Miss Lisa" was my daughter´s preschool teacher 20 years ago and we remained friends through church for a long time after that. I remember Lisa fondly and am sorry to hear of her passing. Sending my best for your comfort and peace.
