Marilyn E. Asprion

GLEN FALLS - Marilyn E. Asprion of the Pines in Glens Falls, beloved Mom, Homemaker, Grandma and Great Grandma entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 17, 2025. She was 91 years old.

A celebration of her life will be announced.

Born in Cambridge to Ernest and Minnie Marra, Marilyn was the youngest of seven siblings. She lived in Rupert, Vt. and then Schaghticoke, N.Y. raising her family of three, Edward L. Asprion (Sandy), Thomas M. Asprion and Patricia L. Krisanda (Mike). Marilyn was widowed since 1984 after the loss of her one and only Edward W. Asprion, Jr.

Mom, Marilyn, Honeygirl, Grandma, Nanny, Great Grandma as she was known is survived by her three children, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.

She enjoyed her crafts and artwork, leading 4-H with her life-long best friend Vera Beecroft, yard sales with Joy Stay and singing hymns with her great granddaughter Joan Akin.

Marilyn loved her family and friends, pets, staff at the Pines, church family and her Lord Jesus – her Savior. Marilyn made a gift of her body to Albany Medical College for research. He remains will be committed in near future with her mother and father in Salem, N.Y.

Any donations in Marilyn's honor may be made to the Hoosic Valley Rescue Squad.

I am so sorry, Ed/Sandy, Tom, and Honey Girl's entire family. My sincerest condolences . She was such a sweet gal. I especially always remember her helping Sandy and Maria cater our wedding. RIP Honey Girl . You were much loved
