QUEENSBURY - Sandra L. Naylor, 85, of Queensbury, NY passed away on August 14, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 6, 1938 in Glens Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (Trombley) Duran.
She graduated from St. Mary's Academy and was Queen of the Prom. Sandra enjoyed shopping, good times spent at the "Clinton Ave." homestead and was an avid NY Yankees fan.
She cared for her family and anyone else that happened to come into her life. She was also involved in the Little League Women's Auxiliary. Sandra was the Office Manager for Henry Hudson Townhouses, retiring after many years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" Naylor; infant daughter, Cheryl Ann Naylor; and by her best friend, Libby Bailey.
She is survived by her children: John (Kate) Naylor, Joseph (Maria) Naylor, Heidi Atkins, Jeffrey Naylor, Stephen Naylor and Sandra (David) McGuirk; grandchildren: John (Lauren) Naylor III, Jenna (Michael) Fernandez, Kara (Carvey) Iannuzzi, Joseph Naylor, Jacklynn (Dominic) Castiglia, Kurt Atkins, Elise (AJ) Grundler, Casey (Adam) Kiskadden, David McGuirk and Jack McGuirk; several great-grandchildren; sisters: Barbara Nokes and Mary Gilligan; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Singleton Sullivan Potter Funeral Home, 407 Bay Rd., Queensbury, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at St. Mary's Church, 62 Warren St., Glens Falls, NY.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, South Glens Falls, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to High Peaks Hospice, 1247 Dix Avenue, Hudson Falls, NY 12839 or to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center, 100 Park Street, Pruyn Pavilion, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
