Theodore McDougall Obituary
Born in Gloversville and raised in Broadalbin, he was the son of Theodore E. McDougall Jr. and Ella A. Lamphear McDougall of Broadalbin, N.Y.
He was a graduate of Broadalbin High School and attended the New York State Maritime Academy.
Ted was a staff sergeant in the New York Army National Guard, serving as a recruiter in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Though Ted enjoyed many things during his time, his greatest love was for his family and his country.
Ted has parted physically from his loving wife of 10 years, Melissa Clothier McDougall, and his three young children, Kayla, Kenzie and Todd. He is also survived by his sisters, Angela Cota and Melissa Spencer; his brother, Brian McDougall; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov., 22, at Richard J. Ryan Funeral Home, 2034 West St., Galway Village, Galway.
Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday.
Interment will be at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville with full military honors following funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions, for his surviving children, to the McDougall Family Event Fund, c/o the Navy Federal Credit Union, 19 JF King Dr. Building 105, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

You all have been in our thoughts & prayers since we learned of Ted's tragic accident, and will continue to be as you now deal with the loss of his life. He was definitely devoted to his family & country. We feel fortunate to have met him.
