Cathi Miller

1958 - 2020

Cathi L. Miller, age 62, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Norristown, PA, on November 13, 1958, the daughter of Harold Caswell and Patricia (Graham) Caswell. Cathi lived most of her life in the Perkiomen Valley and was a graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from West Chester University and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Penn State University. She began her career as a Social Worker and later became a Special Educator. Prior to her retirement, she served as Director of Special Education for the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center. Cathi dedicated her life to serving others. She was a member of Heidelberg United Church of Christ of Schwenksville, where she served on the Board of Christian Education. Cathi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She liked scrapbooking, camping, and visiting the beach. She loved animals and fostered dogs throughout her battle with cancer. She is survived by her parents, Harold & Patricia Caswell of Lewes, DE; daughter, Chelsea Miller of Schwenksville, PA; son, Alexander Miller of Pottstown, PA; two brothers, Harry (& Lynne Anne) Caswell of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Greg (& Angela) Caswell of Lewes, DE; sister, Lee (& Dave) George of Lewes, DE; as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 251 Perkiomen Ave., Schwenksville, PA 19473. Due to present public health concerns, the memorial service following the visitation will be private. In lieu of flowers, Cathi’s family would appreciate memorial contributions made in her name to: Breast Cancer Research Foundation, World Wildlife Fund, Mostly Muttz, St. Jude Hospital for Children, or Planned Parenthood.
